»Remote Places #2« is another reaction (see »Remote Places #1«) by me and Rodrigo to the island of Susak to which we were invited to exhibit at the Susak Expo 2006.
The town of Susak is divided in two parts: the upper part »Gornje Selo« and the lower part »Donje Selo«. We built a large (4 x 4 m) light switch sculpture and located it near the main beach of Susak. We put up fairy lights (ca. 40 m long, with blue, red and yellow bulbs) as another part of the work in the upper town. The lights went on and off every 15 minutes.
