Installed at Chelsea College of Art, London (UK)

The premises of the Chelsea College were once the home of the Royal Army Medical College at Millbank. The high-Edwardian red brick and pale stone architecture was adapted to suit the needs of the college. The buildings are now a complex of old listed buildings that are connected with additions and extensions. The architects Allies and Morrison realised quite a pragmatic alteration if the college were to be used in the way they intended.

Thinking about the remarkable architecture and finding myself lost in the building’s labyrinth I built this square tube out of wood and plaster board. It stands in a room that represents the old Edwardian architecture looking through the window onto a modernistic fibre board facade of a new addition.
